Ultra-Etch is a viscous 35% phosphoric acid gel, suitable for “total engraving”, which for years has been the most popular on the market. Ultra-Etch is viscous enough to remain in place if applied on a vertical surface. However, it is able to penetrate the fissures or occlusal surfaces smaller because of physical and chemical properties that promote capillary action. It is designed for quick and complete removal by rinsing with water spray. Dentists can choose between different tip models for precise application: both the Blue Micro Tip tip, ideal for point or linear engraving, and the Inspiral Brush Tip, designed for surfaces and cracks, provide precise application and control higher. Ultra-Etch has a self-limiting engraving depth on the unique dentin of its kind. This means that its engraving depth will not significantly exceed the 1.9 μm limit, even when it remains in place for longer. This creates the ideal conditions for a strong adhesive bond and avoids defects that could cause dental sensitivity.• Single self-limiting formula.
