Scotchbond ™ Universal adheres to any surface, such as enamel, dentin, vitreous ceramics, zirconia, noble and non precious alloys, and composites without additional primer. Combined with the Dual Scotchbond ™ Universal Polymerization Activator, the Scotchbond ™ Universal adhesive is compatible with all resin cements, stump construction materials and even self-curing composites!

INDICATIONS

Indications for direct placement

– Adhesion of the composite or compomer for all types of direct restorations.
– Desensitization of the root surface.
– Sealing of the dentin prior to the cementation of the amalgam restorations.
– Protective coating for restorative materials based on glass ionomer.
– Repair of restorations with composite or compomer.
– Adhesion of grout sealers and cracks.

Indications for indirect placement

– Primer for restorations with zirconium, alumina, metal or vitreous ceramics. – Adhesion of veneers with Cement for RelyX ™ veneers.
– Adhesion of indirect restoration in combination with RelyX ™ Ultimate cement.
– Adhesion of materials for the construction of self-curing or dual polymerization and resin cements (with the Scotchbond ™ DCA Dual Polymerization Activator). – Intraoral repair of existing indirect restorations.
– Sealing of the dentin prior to the timing for indirect placement of the restoration.

– Vitrebond ™ copolymer provides more uniform adhesion to dentin under wet and dry conditions.
– MDP monomer optimizes self-etch performance, provides chemical adhesion to zirconium, alumina and metals without additional primer, and increases stability during storage, so no refrigeration is required.
– The silane allows the chemical bonding of the adhesive to glass ceramic surfaces without resorting to an additional ceramic primer. Composition-
